Cynarina Coral

Cynarina lacrymalis, commonly known as doughnut coral or button coral, is a large polyp stony coral found in the western Indo-Pacific Ocean, notable for its distinctive appearance and care requirements in reef aquaria. Characteristics Appearance: Cynarina lacrymalis features a single polyp that can grow up to 10 cm (3.9 inches) in diameter. It has a cylindrical shape with a round or oval upper surface, and its color can range from pale brown or green to pinkish or bluish, depending on the species of zooxanthellae (symbiotic algae) residing within it.
